We’re Twin-X Taiwo and Kehinde Akintoye identical twins born and raised in Nigeria. Our story started in the church choirs of Ibadan, where music first found its way into our bones. From there, it’s been a wild journey from those humble harmonies to rocking stages like Gulder Mic Check, and even sharing platforms with legends like Ja Rule and Lagbaja. Every step carved out our voice, our identity blending soulful vocals with the cultural sounds that raised us. When Mother Mi dropped, we had no idea it would become an anthem a track that still lives in people’s hearts. But that’s the thing: we’ve always made music that comes from truth, from feeling, from who we are. And along the way, that sound helped shape what the world now calls Afrobeats.

But we’ve never been one-dimensional. Music was just the beginning. Over the years, we’ve built parallel lives in tech, media, and corporate strategy staying rooted in creativity while evolving in business. It’s all part of the same rhythm to us.
